The 14 x 24 is a longtime staple of our collection, and one of my very favorite styles to design for, due to it's particularly elegant proportion:  longer, lower, graceful and relaxed. It’s one of those shapes that quietly elevates a space, and a size I often recommend because it creates beautiful impact, even as a single accent.



Because of its proportions, our long lumbar layers beautifully with both square and rectangular pillows. Whether in front of larger pillows on a bed or as part of a sofa pillowscape, it introduces variation in shape while feeling balanced and inviting, rather than uniform or typical.

One of my personal favorite places to use a 14 × 24 lumbar is along the back of an accent chair. It offers comfortable lower-back support without extending so high that it gets in the way when someone is seated, so, the shape feels intentional rather than oversized. 

Lastly...I love this size on beds, particularly in guest rooms. A single long lumbar adds a thoughtful finishing touch that feels welcoming and luxe. It’s equally at home on a reading chair or nursing chair, where both comfort and support are appreciated.
