In The Studio

What began as a desire to get ink onto cloth became a quest to develop and master a unique print engraving method that would achieve the level of detail Susan was seeing in her mind. The artwork you see printed on our textiles is derived from this proprietary process discovered in her studio, a process that continues to evolve and inform our new work today.

Still, pattern is just one element of what makes a collection of finished pieces fit for your space. From the start, we've strived to create pieces with clear intention in terms of their design: we place a great deal of emphasis on sourcing the right materials and production methods to accompany our surface artwork. Using natural materials, minimalist shapes, and multiple rounds of art development, our work is not done until it clearly speaks to the care that was taken in each stage of making it.
